I was deciding between Unity and Godot and I am glad I stumbled upon your tutorial. My Goal is to design a 2D Platformer Video Game and your tutorial has helped me so much as a window of opportunity. Although the tutorial is only 1 hour++, I learned so much about video game design (I will admit that I got lost while I followed your tutorial, but I suppose it is normal to struggle at the beginning). Thank you, Brackeys. You just boosted my confidence in developing a video game. I sincerely hope you'll continue to upload more tutorials about Godot (be it GDScript or the game design). Above all, thank you this both detailed and free learning session! Forward and to many more learning and development!

Is there an equivalent to do "static" in the GDScript? Wanna know if there is a way to make a singleton (preferable without adding to scene to auto-load in the project settings, as I don't want it to be on every level)

Godot is way user friendly than unity

I really enjoyed both of the Gadot videos, I think I'm ready to start my first actual game (maybe with a few more tutorials). Am looking forward to more Godot tips, tricks, and strategies. Maybe a 3D guide next time...?

Oh boy. Brackeys, you got your hands full with this crowd. They already trying to push your direction my dude with these 3D comments. If there's one thing I learned from Brackeys over the years, eventually all your desires will be best found in a Brackeys video. Be patient guys and gals! You'll get it if you sub and follow him. And even if you don't, it'll still end up being the video you cross months/years later like most of us did with Unity dev. I still find knowledge in this guys past videos despite having an amazing foundation under me.

when i set the camera limit i can no longer see the game :c ive followed the tutorial closely so far so i dont really know where ive gone wrong or what the problem is

I've heard that Godot's recommended methodology is that you should send messages upwards and link downwards. An example of this would make for a nice tutorial. Perhaps something with a state machine showing how to set up multiple enemies and/or players either in the level or on the fly and how the messages/links can be implemented?

A tutorial on exporting to iOS and Android would be great. I have tried some on UA-cam but still having issues with 4.2.2stable. We need one of your great videos.
